Post Getting ready for the Tribulation Reply with quote
Hi everyone:

I believe we are soon going to enter the endtimes. There is wide speculation among born-again christians about the rapture of the church. Many believe it will begin prior to the tribulation and there is evidence for this, some believe that it will happen 3-1/2 years into the tribulation and there is evidence for that as well. I believe the rapture will happen first; however, I do not want to get caught short if it occurs 3-1/2 years into the tribulation or (our worst fears) and the rapture occurs after the full 7 years.

Are there any web sites being prepared to feed and hide born-again christians if the rapture occurs after the 3-1/2 years or during the entire 7 years of tribulation? I always want to be prepared, especially with a biological family and church family to worry about. I cannot seem to find any sites on my searches of the Internet, so I am hopeful you may be aware of where to look.

The signs of the endtimes are becoming increasingly obvious....all prophecies are being fulfilled.. we need to look ahead for the sake of our church family to protect all who either do not get raptured and are "left behind" or for all of us if the rapture does not occur when we all hope.

Please help if possible or point me in a specific direction to learn more.

To say "I believe the rapture will happen first; however, I do not want to get caught short if it occurs 3-1/2 years into the tribulation or (our worst fears) and the rapture occurs after the full 7 years." as you did is like saying "I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior but just in case he's not I'd like to fall back on the dolly llama or maybe who ever comes along at the time that seems right"...Don't take that the wrong way. At this point none of us really know exactly how things are going to transpire. But, God is faithful to reveal his plans to his people. And make no mistake, we are in the end times right now and soon to enter into those last 7 years - Daniel's 7th week.

We maintain a certainty that there will not be a pre-tribulation rapture. There's not going to be 2 raptures or a "secret" rapture. That leaves mid-point or at the end. I personally lean toward a catching away of those (faithful) that remain alive at the coming of the Lord, which would be at the end. Many faithful will be killed during the period...there's no escaping the persecution of born again Christians - unless you're not a born again Christian. We must know the truth and have a love of the truth or else we will be in delusion.

You've come to the right place if you want to be prepared...WARNING - it ain't easy...it ain't fun...it's a major warfare. If we maintain focus on Jesus Christ and him crucified and resurrected and continue in the purification of our souls by His blood we'll make it...many believe that Jesus did all the suffering and we will be spared. This deception will keep many out. None of us know who is going to live and die through it all, but we've all got to be prepared to die for His name's sake...those that are not properly prepared will deny Him.

Seek after the Lord and to be baptized with the Holy Ghost for yourself...don't take my word for it. First we must believe and then be baptized in order to be saved - Mark 16:16

Thanks for replying. I think all the time spent discussing and debating the fact of the rapture and when it will occur is satan's way of keeping us from acting. I respect your answer but do not agree. The bible says that the Holy Spirit will not be on the earth while satan has his way for the last 3-1/2 years. Since the Holy Spirit is indwelling in each and every christian, we can not be here for that period of time...hence the pre trib rapture. There are other things we could debate, but like I said it is a moot point. Whatever God's plans are, will happen and we are sure of the trib and afterwards. I want to act and not debate. If I was a post trib rapture advocate, I would be spending every waking second preparing for it. I am not, but I know I am human and flawed, so I want to prepare for it even if I am wrong. If I am wrong, I go unprepared into the trib. If you are wrong, you go to heaven and miss the trib. See my point? I have a few questions for you.

1. Do you believe the trib has started and if so where do you believe we are at this time?
2. What are you doing at this minute to keep safe the christians who refuse the mark?
3. How are we to band together so we can get food for the last 3-1/2 years of the trib?
4. Do you believe that the Read ID is going to be the mark of satan when it is instituted in 2008?
5. Do you believe the beast is walking amongst us today and if so who is he?

I have been very anxious lately with the news and developments such as knowing that the Sanhedrin are building the temple off-site to be moved into place as the prophecy states, for this Read ID being the mark and knowing it must be done by 2008, the issues with the boundaries of Israel, the threat of nuclear war in Iran, the fact that we have 150,000 or so troops on the Euphrates River where the phrophecy states the 1/3 of humanity will be destroyed just before the 3-1/2 year reign of satan, and so on......

In the end, I feel we must be prepared before it is too late. God gave us the timeframe and the signs, so he must want us to be ready. Please help in any way you can. I do not want to sound like a raving lunatic, but my feeling is that if we are not already in the endtimes, we are really, really, really close.

Thanks and God bless you!

I have never heard anyone say that the bible says that the Holy Spirit will not be on the earth while satan has his way for the last 3-1/2 years.

Where is that in the bible?

You seem to already have your mind made up to go with the pre-trib rapture yet you ask for help and information about the end of time.

If you really are honestly seeking for help as you say then at least read the links I provided and check the scriptures for validation. Put aside any pre-conceived notions and beliefs and ask for the Holy Ghost so the Word of God will be made alive to you. Too many people are going to go off course trying to figure everything out by obtaining as much information as they can. That's what the devil would like us to do. He'd like to see us debate endlessly and "act" according to what we "think" we should do. Our problem is that we think too much. God is saying die to the flesh and all reaction so I can move through you.

I said nothing as you blatently attacked my faith with your first response. I turned the other cheek and you bashed me in your second response. I said I will not debate because that is not what I came to your site looking for, but you have your opinion and you want all to know and agree. I don't and I don't care to argue. There is no absolute truth here and you know it. I will look for my answers elsewhere where there are christians not looking to promote their own platforms. Good day and may God bless you.

Post Question about witchcraft Reply with quote
Can someone please tell me how one would know if they're the victim of witchcraft. What are the signs? I found a dead bird on my front door step. While I believe that my neighborhood cats may have killed it, I thought it strange that the bird was still intact. None of its feathers had even been ruffled and if the cats killed it, why didn't they eat it. A few weeks after this incident a guy that I believed (via my dreams) God was showing me was supposed to be my future husband proposed to his long-time girlfriend. This is the same girlfriend that he had cheated on countless times previously. All of a sudden he had a change of heart. Do you think these two incidents are related? I also had a dream that his girlfriend was looking for me. In the dream she was wearing what appeared to be a camouflaged white Star Wars fighter uniform (the Star Wars figthers in the metal suits from the original episode from 1977, I can't remember what they are called). Anyway, once she located me, she proceeded to transform into a woman wearing a bridal gown and carrying a gun. Do you think any of this is related. I don't watch Star Wars movies. In fact, I rarely watch t.v. at all. So I don't think that it's because of something that I've seen on t.v. I had this dream before I knew who this woman was. (Also, I have many, many dreams that come true). I later realized it was her. Also before all of this happened, God laid it on my heart to pray for my enemies. I have no idea who they are and I still don't know them. Can someone please help!

I forgot to say also that I met this guy several times before and he knows quite well. However, I met him a month before he proposed to his girlfriend and he had absolutely no idea who I was. And he wasn't pretending. I was completely shocked. He seemed like a completley different person.
