where are all the parts of His body? let's get together!

hey,
my name is fallon. i have been seeking the Lord and striving to devote my entire self to Him for the past 2 years. i am also a student at fsu in tallahassee, fl. if anyone is in the tallahassee area, and has a desire to grow closer to God, but is lacking Christian community, i would love to invite you to fellowship with me and other believers who truly yearn to do nothing but worship the Father. and if you are no where near tallahassee, i would still encourage you to not be a floating finger or leg, but instead seek to be joined with the rest of the Body of Christ wherever you are. we need each other. and in case you would like to be reminded of some of the benefits of community, remember...

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." (ecc 4:9-11)

not only that, check out the community luke writes about in acts 2:42-47. oh, how awesome fellowship would be if we emulated these folks! those brothers and sisters weren't joking Smile

! and it will always remain true that devotion to God is never complete without devotion to His people, just as love of God is nonexistent if there is no love of neighbor. anyway, i'm just a little passionate about authentic Christian community because i never knew it existed until i unwittingly became a part of one. and it changed my life. in this sick world, it's practically impossible to try to live for Christ by yourself. of course, we know that where there is faith, nothing is ever impossible with God. so, even if you're ever unable to fellowship with others for some reason, know that you are not really alone, Christ is always with you...even to the end of the age.
